Blue Practice believes that the practice of cutting-edge medical techniques demands unprecedented precision, with careful consideration of the effects on the human body. To this end, we have developed technology that artificially reproduces human organs and blood vessels as realistically as possible based on actual patient diagnostic data. As this data involves sensitive personal information, it must be handled with utmost care in accordance with legal requirements. This Privacy Statement outlines how Blue Practice handles such personal information, ensuring that medical professionals and manufacturer representatives can entrust us with their data with confidence.
Blue Practice handles personal information of ordering parties—such as medical specialists and medical device manufacturer representatives—for the production and provision of vascular treatment products and solutions.
In case models, Blue Practice handles diagnostic data to precisely reproduce the shape and size of the treatment site based on the medical imaging data of patients awaiting actual treatment.
For case model manufacturer hands-on services, Blue Practice acts as a platform connecting medical specialists with medical device manufacturers participating in case model simulations. We handle the information of medical specialists and manufacturer representatives, as well as receive diagnostic data from specialists to pass on to the manufacturers. Blue Practice may also undertake manufacturing as commissioned by the manufacturers.
To protect personal information and respect privacy, Blue Practice defines the types of personal information handled and its purposes. We undertake the manufacturing of:
- "Vascular Model Series ORTA"
- "Sensor-Equipped Vascular Model System BIS-ORTA"
- "Case Models"
Additionally, we offer the “Case Model Manufacturer Hands-On” service to support specialists who delegate hands-on training to medical device manufacturers.
Personal information collected from the ordering representatives for ORTA & BIS-ORTA will be used as follows:
Personal Information | Details | Purpose of Use |
---|---|---|

In case models, actual patient diagnostic data is used. Medical specialists convert medical image data (such as from CT, MRI, or MRA) into 3D data (STL) of vascular shapes. Blue Practice then manufactures the models using 3D printing technology. Orders and quotations are submitted with the desired case data, and the finished vascular models are delivered directly to the specified address.
